The essay competition was organized by the College of civil engineering and architecture of Henan University of the Communist Youth League and organized by the student union Organization Department of the College of civil engineering and architecture. The essay competition was held for all students around the theme of "praising new China and building a new era of dreams".

The competition can be divided into three stages: the publicity in the early stage of the activity, the collection and evaluation of manuscripts, and the evaluation and summary of the activity.
